Operation…what the heck!?!? February 9, 2010

Dear Sporting Blub Bellevue,

While I understand a need for a certain degree of cleanliness in the Women’s Locker room, I do not understand the need to snatch my Operation Beautiful Post-its right off the mirror within ten minutes of me placing them!  Why don’t you go fix the broken swim suit dryer, clean the bathroom floor, or perhaps try to figure out why it is that I am forced to take a cold shower everytime I bathe there.  Actually, I don’t even care if you do any of those things- I am NOT a picky member, but please, LEAVE MY POST-ITS ALONE!  I even asked the nice cleaning lady to leave those babies up for a bit, and wouldn’t you know, the MINUTE I leave for my workout, va-va-voom- gone!  Anyway, SCB, get it together.  Give some love to the “beautiful movement” of Operation Beautiful.  Make this blogger and some others VERY proud!

The unused Auto Show Tickets… February 8, 2010

So, sadly I was unable to go to the Auto Show as I had anticipated. I was SOOO excited to go this year, especially ’cause I got hooked up by Eamon with VIP tickets, and you know I would never pass those up under normal circumstances.  BUT when the time came to “get the show on the road,” I flaked!  I just could NOT breathe and KNEW I would not enjoy myself in such a condition and I didn’t want to spoil it for my company or myself. SO, here are the unused precious tickets.  I’m sorry!  Shout out!

Just another snowy Sunday February 7, 2010

Top of the morning to y’all! I have been doing a lot of hibernating this weekend with my brutal cold and the lovely weather. So when I woke up this morning it was time to get a move on! I cleaned the kitchen big time while drinking tea and buckled down to make some Superbowl cuppy-cakes! Unfortunately I realized I have no regular milk eggs or butter. I did have lactaid, beaters and country crock but tried to make cupcakes with these ingredients before and unless u like eating sponges it just doesn’t work. So HUSBAND is being a doll and ran to the corner store for lil old me. I am also hoping to make it over to the Philadelphia auto show this afternoon as it closes today and a friend has VIP tickets which you KNOW I wouldn’t pass up. What are your plans for this snowy Sunday?
PS a great app for any smartphone is Pandora, a customizable radio station that I’m currently listening to…it’s a country morning y’all.

Saturday’s delectable eats February 7, 2010

Yum…ww(weight watchers) bagel-only 150 Cals or 2 points-with pb and j. Lately I’ve been using smooth operator pb. It is natural and fantastic. I’ll post a picture later. The I baked up some Pillsbury cinnamon buns… heaven!

Snowy and sick Saturday February 6, 2010

Oh well I guess it is a fantastic day to hibernate. I have a terrible cold and slept over 14 hours! I guess I needed it. Around 1 pm I finally dragged myself outta bed to make some tea and paint my piggiest. Random I know, but if not now when?! Hehe also it seems that half of the athletics I participate in involve bare feet (swimming and yoga) but the other half of my athletics (running, elliptical, torture machine) jack my feet up so a pediatric was necessary. Self pediatric even more necessary due to the storm. Anyway I am currently catching up on one of my faves… say yes to the dress! Go TLC! What are your plans for this snowy Saturday? Toodles!
